Review removal for roofing contractors in Dallas, TX
When someone in Dallas searches for a roofing company, Google fills the top of the page with a map and three listings. Google's own documentation names three inputs to those local results: relevance, distance and prominence, and it states that review count and review score factor into prominence. A roofing company in Dallas, Texas with a policy-violating review sitting on its profile is carrying a weight in the one part of that ranking the business can actually change.
Metal roof replacement is worth about $46,790 in revenue, ≈ $13,990 estimated gross profit. One missed call never appears on a report, so the cost of a bad review hides inside jobs that went to a competitor across Dallas. Removing a review that breaks the platform's published rules takes it out of the score buyers see before they ever call.
Reputation Medics files removal requests through the same reporting channels Google and Yelp publish, so the work is fully remote: no office visit, nothing to sign in person, and the same price in Dallas as everywhere else, $397 per Google review and $697 per Yelp review. Pay upfront. If the specific Google review is not removed within 30 days of payment, or a Yelp review or other-platform item is not removed within 90 days of payment, we refund the removal fee to your original payment method. No claim or form needed. We review and issue it within 5 business days. Pay upon removal: save a card, pay $0 today, and pay $50 more per item only once each removal is documented. No refund term applies because nothing is charged before removal. Google, Yelp, and the sites we file with make the final removal decision. For upfront payments, what we guarantee is the refund of the removal fee, reviewed and issued by us, if the item remains live past the applicable 30-day or 90-day deadline.
Roofing Contractors review removal in Dallas: common questions
Do you remove reviews for a roofing company in Dallas?
Yes. We file for businesses in Dallas and the surrounding Texas metro. There is no office to visit and nothing to sign in person: the filing runs through the same reporting channels Google and Yelp publish, so the work happens remotely and the price is identical to any other city.
What does review removal cost in Dallas?
$397 per Google review, $697 per Yelp review, $497 per harmful link on another site. No retainer, no city surcharge, no travel charge.
Will removal move my Dallas map ranking?
No one can promise that, and we do not. Google publishes three factors for local results, relevance, distance and prominence, and states that review count and review score sit inside prominence along with links and mentions. Removal takes a policy-violating review out of that score. What Google does with the ranking afterward is Google's call. Google, Yelp, and the sites we file with make the final removal decision. For upfront payments, what we guarantee is the refund of the removal fee, reviewed and issued by us, if the item remains live past the applicable 30-day or 90-day deadline.
Which reviews actually come down?
Only reviews that breach a published platform policy: a review from someone who was never a customer, a competitor posting as a customer, personal attacks, off-topic content, spam, or a review left on the wrong business. An honest complaint from a real Dallas customer stays up, and we will tell you that before you pay rather than after.
What is one missed Dallas call worth to a roofing company?
Metal roof replacement is worth about $46,790 in revenue, ≈ $13,990 estimated gross profit. The value and basis use the cited benchmarks at the bottom of this page. The searcher who picked the profile above yours never shows up in any report you can read.
Dallas roofing job costs (2025)
| Job | Dallas | National | Dallas cost recouped | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Asphalt shingle replacement | $28,211 | $31,871 | 56.9% | Sourced |
| Metal roof replacement | $46,790 | $51,865 | 48.6% | Sourced |
Dallas figures are 2025 contractor quotes for a standard reroof. Recouped shows how much of that price comes back as added resale value.
Hail in North Texas
On June 13, 2012, storms dropped hail the size of baseballs, oranges and softballs (up to 4.25 inches) on parts of Dallas, Collin and Fannin counties. The National Weather Service office in Fort Worth estimated that the storm may cost $900 million.
That office also keeps a list of the costliest Texas hailstorms, based on Insurance Council of Texas figures in 2013 dollars. The May 5, 1995 Mayfest storm in North Texas tops it at $1.62 billion.
The Texas Department of Insurance calls high winds and hail two of the most severe conditions a roof can face, and suggests asking for UL 2218 Class 4 impact-resistant products.
Our view: after a hailstorm, a Dallas homeowner may call several roofers in one afternoon, and the review profile is often the first filter. A review from someone who was never a customer can knock a company out of that shortlist, so we report the ones that break platform policy.
Licensing, registration and the deductible law
Texas has no state license for reroofing contractors. A 2025 House committee analysis of HB 3344, a bill that would have had the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation license them, says so directly. The bill's last recorded action was a committee report sent to the House Calendars Committee on May 8, 2025.
The City of Dallas counts roofing contractors as general contractors, and general contractors must register with the city's Planning & Development department before doing work that needs a permit. The city says minor roof repairs don't need a permit, but replacing large sections or a whole roof requires a re-roof permit.
Under Texas Business & Commerce Code §27.02, a contract of $1,000 or more that is expected to be paid from a property insurance claim must tell the homeowner, in at least 12-point bold type, that they are required to pay their deductible. Advertising or providing work while paying, waiving or rebating that deductible without the insurer's consent is a Class B misdemeanor.
The Texas Department of Insurance adds that a roofer may not also act as the public insurance adjuster on a claim for work they are doing.
How Google decides which Dallas listing shows first
The quoted line under each heading is Google's own wording. The second line is what it means for a roofing company in Dallas carrying a review that breaks policy.
Relevance
How well a local Business Profile matches what someone searched for.
Category, services and profile detail carry this one. A review never makes a profile more relevant, but review text does get read by people comparing two profiles that match equally well.
Distance
How far each possible search result is from the location term used in a search.
Nothing about a review changes distance. This is why a shop can rank in the map pack and still lose the call to the business one rating point higher.
Prominence
How well known a business is, which Google states includes review count and review score along with links, articles and directories.
This is the factor a policy-violating review touches. A fake one-star sits in the same score Google reads as prominence, and it sits there until the platform removes it.
